1. OVERVIEW

This Privacy Policy explains how Inside The Ropes Recruiting, may collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website, consultations, recruiting services, communications, and related business activities.

2. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

·         Contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and parent/guardian contact information.

4. INFORMATION ABOUT MINORS

Inside The Ropes provides services that may involve Student-Athletes under 18. Paid recruiting services for a minor require parent or legal guardian involvement and authorization.

We do not intend to knowingly enter into paid recruiting-service agreements solely with a minor without appropriate parent or guardian authorization.

Parents and legal guardians may contact us regarding personal information submitted about their minor child, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping obligations.

5. RECRUITING-RELATED DISCLOSURES

When a Client authorizes recruiting services, we may share recruiting information with colleges, coaches, athletic departments, and related recruiting contacts for the purpose of assisting the Student-Athlete’s college recruitment.

The categories of information shared may include the Student-Athlete’s name, graduation year, school, contact information, golf resume, tournament results, statistics, handicap, rankings, videos, academic information voluntarily supplied for recruiting use, and other information reasonably necessary for recruiting. We do not intentionally sell any Student-Athlete’s nonpublic personal information to unrelated third parties for unrelated advertising purposes.

6. SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may use third-party service providers to support our business, such as website hosting providers, customer-management tools, email providers, scheduling services, cloud-storage providers, analytics providers, electronic-signature services, and payment processors.

These providers may process information on our behalf subject to their own contracts and privacy/security practices. Before publication, this section should be updated to identify material categories actually used by the business.

7. PAYMENT INFORMATION

If you purchase services online, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment processor. Inside The Ropes should avoid storing full payment-card numbers unless there is a specific business need and appropriate payment-security controls are in place.

8. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, preferences, security, or marketing, depending on the tools actually installed.

Before publication, this section should be matched to the website’s real cookie, analytics, advertising, and tracking configuration and any consent banner or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law.

9. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

We may send marketing communications where permitted by law. Recipients may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the message or contacting us. Service-related communications may still be sent when necessary to administer an active client relationship.

10. MEDIA, TESTIMONIALS, AND PUBLICITY

We will not treat acceptance of recruiting services as automatic permission to use a Student-Athlete’s name, image, likeness, testimonial, commitment announcement, or recruiting success for public advertising. Separate permission should be obtained before promotional use, and parent/guardian authorization should be obtained for minors.

11. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable law.

Before publication, Inside The Ropes should adopt a practical internal retention schedule for inactive leads, former clients, recruiting materials, payment records, and minor-related data.

12. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, email system, cloud service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Clients should avoid sending highly sensitive information that is not reasonably necessary for recruiting services.

13. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or certain uses/disclosures of personal information.

To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify the requester’s identity or authority before fulfilling a request, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

14. STATE-SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS

Privacy rights vary by state and may change over time. Because Inside The Ropes intends to serve families nationwide, counsel should determine whether state-specific notices, consumer-request procedures, sensitive-data consents, appeal rights, or other supplements are required based on the business’s size, data practices, and legal thresholds.

15. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Our website and communications may contain links to colleges, governing organizations, tournament sites, payment processors, social-media services, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version should display an effective date. Material changes should be posted or communicated when appropriate.
